Freelance band poster
speaking of which
Project brief
Local band Speaking of Which requires a promotional poster for their upcoming show at Found Festival. The design should capture the energy of the band with a style inspired by 70s Disco, Gothic, Old School, and Rock & Roll.
The poster must be created in two formats: an A4 print-ready version and a vertical Instagram post. Both versions should share a consistent look and effectively promote the band’s performance.
My response
In response to the brief, I gathered several photos from the band’s live performances and selected one that best captured their energy on stage. I then manipulated the image and created a retro, rock and roll vibe poster that fit perfectly with the brief’s 70s-inspired theme.
The final design combines bold typography and vintage textures to reflect the band’s character and bring that classic live music feel to both the A4 poster and Instagram format.
